The Holidays can be enjoyed for the seasonal cheer and time off from school and for winter games like skiing and sledding. Presents under the Christmas Tree are fun, especially for children and in our memory from the past lives we all had.

I started my career at SRJC Fall of 1980 by standing up in Chemistry 1A making a demonstration to care about the environment in a warning about Love Canal. Love Canal was reported in media as chemical dumping causing birth defects in high numbers in that community.

From the same inspiration point family perhaps as Global Warming, I was completely appropriate advocating to engineering, science, and doctors students to care about externalities and not want chemical dumping.
