Visiting other places to see people you know is great proof of bonding. Distant relations can count the times each other has seen the other person's house and compare notes on the geographic situation and reunion reasons. The family and friends cementing by traveling as far apart as different states after decades on and off goes a long way to holding forth one's sanity. An individual doesn't have to plan alone; he can rely on more experienced travelers and utilize cost saving accommodations sharing their home as opposed to eating 3 meals out and staying at hotels.
