Family visiting doesn't go away with adulthood. Staying at home living with a parent or so longer can encourage the closeness both generations of family member may need. The disabled being like a coach in presence and providing even just a warm body to a lump on the couch up to the elders old age is not often praised but felt gratefully by most all in the family. We take our part, and the too young a person with a disability can do good in senior years by always having been around. (read more)

The dependent elder as a young softie may need a bolt of lightening to get out of here to finish life like my dad did. He was a role model in ways, by remarrying at 57 him, her younger than him by over 20 years. He shows I still have life ahead at mid-century. I want to carry better care toward others to define I'm strong for relationship. It is normally family needing quality to keep having times together from more than one state away.
