The subject of Roommate Law needs a guiding, understandable code with law enforcement back up. A funny, small time movie of yesteryear called behavior of pranksterish psychological warfare on acquaintances "effing you." Dealing out consequences or punishments to people whose behavior is not liked by adults sharing a home is not a big concern of "smile police." Fighting or moving on are not the only tools for independent living. The Sonoma County District Attorney will enforce Civil Harassment paperwork that is available to those not in dating relationships. It works like a Temporary Restraining Order. Justice can eliminate things like "spelunking" for the environment in taking mail invoices of a person or home based business, which can harm credit ratings but city police does not make arrests for stealing paper. With the U.S. Forest Service not hiring those that support violent activities that are pro-environment, this is a legal citation for good lawyering to make whole the victim and rehabilitate the perpetrator of stealing invoices. Prevention of "crazy making" to irritate those not liked for whatever reason requires a cop at the door with an understandable code and justice tools to stop intentional infliction of emotional distress from those living in the same home. A legally enforceable Roommate Law will also break barriers in the community through the home by making it safer to integrate the mentally ill to stop harm done of "effing you."
