Voting in as a member of a Nor Cal Methodist congregation to include LGBT rights and calling ourselves a Reconciling congregation for acceptance is a watershed in Progressive Christianity. We did this in mid 90s ahead of government rules and laws permitting gay marriage rights. Then seeing a more expensive Rainbow and sign that stated "Reconciling" on my late mother's hometown UCC is a boost.
