Eve's older son telling God he was not Abel's keeper seems to have been an excuse told to an all-knowing deity. More than merely keeping track of time and whereabouts that some modern brothers are too bothered to do, we in America must have adults and children to try for stronger family bonds. Protecting my brother in times of trouble and need is a true brothers' keeper that includes property, emotional bonding, and physical health and welfare. The Holy Spirit is commonplace safety of the community. Social welfare programs are justice to human rights and provide a container to those housed in programs.
