Perhaps setting the government precedent for the principle of this blog category, Reagan hired Weinberger twice. The man in question was called Cap the Knife and cut the California Health and Human Services Department under Governor Reagan. Then President Reagan hired No Cap to head Secretary of Defense for no limit on spending. This was done with no heart for love. Can we even talk about it after all these years?

Defense is too heavy handed for the intolerant rules and case interpretations that create police state roles in the minds of social service clerks. Unemotional Security harms people by being inhuman to needy people who need help processing. Using kindness and a gentler policy bringing to state agencies more ability to support people is the first step. Providing a care comparison to foreign nations that benefits both nations' populations is more like it.
