Mother's Day is 2nd Sunday in May

Blog topics:

Happy Mother's Day!! Founded with Peace meaning by Woodrow Wilson eventually, the original advocate in her mother's honor was disappointed at the official holiday's commercialization.

Family Marriages Vital to Attend if Possible

Blog topics:

Memorable and important rites of passage and family reunions need presence of a disabled person for their own recovery. Marking important events, keeping these celebrations in mind, and recalling stories connecting the people hold the glue of a family member who may not be well.

Control and Accountability

Blog topics:

Control is a de-motivator to limit behaviors. Accountability sets a record for greater honesty for behavior, budgets, health, or any goal set.

Goals are positive for motivation, and we all know they should be measurable and realistic. When known to the person, he or she will strive to reach them. They could be for behavior modification, sales targets, or maintaining a level of success. It is accountable to document them and observe, even record, progress on reaching the goals. Rewards intrinsic or extrinsic help internalize wanted behavior.

Food Restrictions Allow Lent for Peace

The suffering and arduous life of serious mental illness can nearly pass with deep volunteering. Religious observation to forgo favorite things on Ash Wednesday after Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday until Easter is called Lent. If devoted, one can sacrifice and restrict food menu items, impure body practices, or abstain from tobacco, alcohol, or even sex.

Lactose intolerance I wonder if from medicine consequences or ageism is a condition that is painful and hurts funny when whole dairy is consumed.

Deadlines Commentary Journals for You

Writing about every 3 weeks for someone to read is a usually easy schedule. Coming up with topics, from out of the blue with contemplative isolation and head banging propriety; or looking into a community made better for the mental health society we have/are, is not an incredible effort. Requiring extensive work tolerance was when I was dogged determination for labor improvement just less than one decade ago, now offhand commercial applications in mind.

Rejoice may be falser than work boasting

RE: What does the Bible say about Disabled People?
Romans 5:3-5 ESV

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Group Home Counseling with Peer Rules

Blog topics:

At 4th Street's Interlink Self Help Center while online, I overheard a Peer Counseling training "not to tell psychiatrists passing in the hallway someone's symptoms while working in a hospital." Group Home Counselors do in documentation when main job distancing from person-hood while eliminating the sickness part. I think rule for peers is not to get someone in trouble with more medicine even Dr's Orders. It is accepted by patients who are residents/participants to follow the rules and governance of Group Home treatment.

Enjoy Present Moments for Nuggets of Health

Blog topics:

Live in the moment, and enjoy each kernel of life while living mindfully. I heard from a Christian minister that living in the present moment is health. I mean more kindness and pleasant, even radical emotions of loving someone to take it all in.

Scams Affect Disabled as More So Targeted

Cashier's Checks are not immediate cash, even if the bank cashes the check and provides money straight-up. There is a waiting period of 5 - 7 days, depending on the bank, for the Cashier's Check to clear. The local bank sends the Cashier's Check to the Feds. Once in the Feds hands, the check is gone over to test for counterfeit and validity of the check.

Directing Labels of People Need Kindness

Blog topics:

Say "that (behavior)" instead of directly to the person you are addressing to register a compliant or requesting improvement. Labels are in the same vein. Language shorthand truncates understanding of the whole person for expediency. Lawyers intentionally use rude terms for people to be politically incorrect in their hard job adjacent to court.
