Start with One Day

Blog topics:
Loving yourself is key to confidence for leadership of self and to love another. Hard fought existence or challenging battles for accomplishments are vital for life satisfaction. Your daily routines are important for stability, your future goals depend on them, and are the basis to reaching out to others. Start by "inventing" a day for just yourself and extend a routine of activities of living as full a life as you can to the rest of the week.

Do Ask and Tell Nice Bigger than You See In Person

Blog topics:
Discriminations are to be fought against together and alone until we are accepting and understanding of people not like ourselves. The current debate about the military punishing gay soldiers is about discrimination. What about saying "nice" to describe civilians? Our society, as I see it, is, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" about a person being nice. Use leadership in making our homeland secure and kind and respectful. Our citizens need to share bio-information if someone is nice more than pleasant company to his target audience.

Reform in Rewarding the Original Talent

Learning James Marshall discovered gold at Sutter's Mill back in 1848 and died penniless as a miner after a hard life is not fit for modern standards except for thievery and crudity. The Marshall Plan after WWII showed U.S. generosity and rebuilding cultures along with forgiveness. God forbid what Reagan era business college students meant with full knowledge of California history and asking an inventor and writer which "Marshall Plan" he wanted. The creator may have answered the California One due to ignorant parochialism.

Citizenship for Health Care Reform One Avenue

Touching the bone in calling out to the President, "You liar," is a testament to feeling and logical sanity. In health care reform, unlike more conservative pragmatists, most of Sonoma County legislators believe in their heart in providing health insurance to illegal immigrants. It saves costs to reduce hospital stays and emergency room treatments for maintenance and preventative health care. The costs saved by offering insurance to illegal immigrants is money to taxpayers, hospitals, and a poor segment of the population.

My Brother's Keeper

Blog topics:
Cain's relationship to Abel is a violent bible story of jealousy, regard and recognition, and murder. Eve's older son telling God he was not Abel's keeper seems to have been an excuse told to an all-knowing deity. More than merely keeping track of time and whereabouts that some modern brothers are too bothered to do, we in America must have adults and children to try for stronger family bonds. Protecting my brother in times of trouble and need is a true brothers' keeper that includes property, emotional bonding, and physical health and welfare.

Have Good Fun at School this Year

Blog topics:
Starting right now when school starts, get off the blocks and introduce yourself to past and new people. Try new things to do and keep the old things that were positive energy to your life. Gain in maturity in a sense of respect and empathy. Be smarter in life by not hurting others or yourself in an interactive rigamorole where small emotional transgressions of each other are to be accepted. Keep a head on your shoulders and get the work of school accomplished for the long run. Have fun yourself, and if you have the wherewithal keep those feeling isolated in mind to share your fun with.

Fairness Means Reasonable Standard

A legal dichotomy appears possible when I read that the law and courts are competent jurisdictions. A Reasonable Person standard is important to recognize for personal, civil and business rights of individuals as well as public policy. Is it reasonably prudent to suffer for your own behavior when you know it is not popular? We lose ability as a whole when morality is not taken well by courts, is jinxed in social relations, or is punished by mass society.

Justice, Morals + the Times We're In

The best time to make improvements in morals and ethical structures in business, relationships, and our general political scene is when the economy is performing down and I'm tired of war. When the economy is booming people are following the invisible hand of capitalism and are acting full throttle on the greed aspect at the expense of honest right behavior to do good. Sharing our home for out of luck family or being active in the political process for social justice are a couple of good deeds that reward emotional balance sheets.

Upgrade Reformers in 4th of July Spirit

American history is made of success and reform. Improving an aspect of an American institution is seen as rewarding to the reformer in and of itself. Intrinsic pride and satisfaction in accomplishing for the Greater Good fits a need in a component of happiness. Paying a dollar bonus to the people who risk designing the change or promoting those coming up with the new plans may be needed to get big things done with the small, like health care reform currently.

The Truly Warm and Moral Workplace

Winning rights does not equate to ability for kindness. We have a President to particularly address sore spots and improve national internal weaknesses. The women's movement seems to have intentionally lost nice by following competitive business roles and regimented interpersonal relations. Contrary to an ethical workplace, "Mean Party" management that suppresses workers to beat out ideas hurts one or a few employees to the company's credit. The mental health system employer is also harmful like this, showing Reagan's noted business problems of creativity and leadership.
